This book by Ursula Goodenough has been very thought provoking, in terms of our place in the larger world. Likewise, Mary Oliver’s Upstream, a collection of essays mostly about time in nature (and also about other writers and writing) and the human condition, overall.
I’m curious as to what perspective Goodenough’s book offers for anyone not familiar with her work, if you don’t mind elaborating on the subject.
