Hiba Zafran is a multiple migrant, poet, therapist and academic who is drawn to critical, queering and poetic understandings of loss, meaning, transformation and becoming. She is grateful for the people, values, and peripheries that she calls her home. The piece "Finally home" is about the too-early loss of a cat, Achilles, who was her partner's constant companion across countries and grief.
