This event is sponsored by Hay House and will be held on October 5 and 6, 2013, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Williamson, a native of Houston, Texas, has appeared on television programs such as Oprah, Good Morning America, and Larry King Live. She founded Project Angel Food in 1989, a program that serves food to homebound individuals with AIDS in and around Los Angeles. The program is still running today, and serves over 1,000 people each day. A NEWSWEEK magazine poll in December 2006 listed Williamson as one of fifty most powerful baby boomers.

The Writer’s Workshop gives participants a chance to have a book published with Hay House and even become a New York Times best-selling author. One lucky participant will be awarded a $10,000 advance in addition to a publishing contract with Hay House. Event details can be found here.
