always looking beyond. not to this. not to now. but to what may come. to what may lie just past this horizon. what form its object takes is no matter, but that something take form, that there be an object, is essential. even if that object is itself not specified. perhaps simply not this. perhaps simply better. and then to orient toward it. to look beyond the horizon toward this object and then to bring it to the horizon and even closer. to place it beyond and then to draw it near, while moving in this new orbit. strung from this object in a different arc. an effect upon a body. a change in direction. and investing in that new orbit, that new direction. all to draw one forth. all to invigorate now. to change now.
