Crumpled
Souls
Lost …
Like forgotten pennies
On a dingy subway train
Hidden in dusty corners
Violently kicked aside
By oblivious bullies
Too distracted to acknowledge
The havoc, the harm, the damage done.
Unwritten
Agendas
Hidden …
Lurking behind closed doors
Surviving in darkened gloom
Masked by deceit and shame
While bright and right
Struggle to illuminate
Cavernous voids of whimpering spirits
Crushed by cruel lies.

Mirror …
Spare change, pennies,
Picked up for good fortune
Salvaging ravaged souls
Once damaged and crippled
By chaos and heartache
Spirit now shining and renewed
Gleaming like copper coins.
Flourishing
Nurtured
Guided … Once lost and now found.
Until next time,
Let Love & Light prevail …
