Whatever happens, whatever went wrong, when in doubt I ground myself, connect to the divine, go into my heart and apply more love. To the situation, to myself, to the other.
It sounds so simple and yet sometimes the resistance is so strong. The stories so compelling about how I was wronged, betrayed, abandoned, ignored. More love! Apply more love to the situation.
What inner pain made the other want to strike out? What pain inside of me vibrated to theirs and made me a match to their story? Apply more love to the situation and to myself!
Love that is respect. Love that is compassion. Love that is patience. Love that is tenderness. Apply all of it, to myself, to the other and to the situation.
