Dani Shapiro is a bestselling memoirist and novelist. In this episode of Tiferet Talk we discuss Shapiro’s exploration self and faith through the memoir Devotion, as well as other works.

In addition to Devotion, Shapiro is the author of the memoir Slow Motionand five novels, including Black & White and Family HistoryHer work has appeared in The New Yorker, Granta, Tin House, One Story, Elle, The New York Times Book Review, and The Los Angeles Times, and has been widely anthologized. She has taught in the writing programs at Columbia, NYU, The New School and Wesleyan University, and she is co-founder of the Sirenland Writers Conference in Positano, Italy. As well, she is a contributing editor at Travel + Leisure.
